This policy explains how Warehouse Empire ("the game", "the app") handles information. Warehouse Empire is developed and published by Fateful Games ("we", "us").

Information we collect ourselves

No personal information. There are no user accounts, no sign-in and no registration. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or location, and we could not identify you from anything we receive. There is no chat, no messaging, no social features and no user-generated content.

We do collect anonymous statistics about how the game runs and how it is played, so that we can find faults and make it better. That is the following, and nothing else:

• A random identifier, generated on your device the first time you open the game. It is a random number. It is not your advertising ID, it is not linked to your phone, your accounts or anything else about you, and it exists only so that two sessions from the same device are counted as one player rather than two
• Your device model and Android version — for example "SM-A125F" and "13" — so that we can tell which phones the game runs badly on
• Which version of the game you are running — for example "4.1 (28)" — so that a problem can be traced to the update that caused it
• How the game performs on your device: the graphics quality level it settled on, and the average time it takes to draw a frame
• How far you have got through the five opening tasks, so that we can see where new players get stuck
• How long a play session lasted, rounded into a range rather than recorded exactly, and whether it began by your opening the game or by your returning to it from the background
• What you buy and build: which equipment and upgrades you purchase, how many you own, and what they cost. These are amounts of the game's own currency — no real money is involved anywhere in the game
• How you get on: freight contracts you complete or let expire, when you sell a site and start again, daily rewards you claim, and when you use Priority Dispatch — so that we can see which parts of the game people reach and which they never do
• Offline earnings you collected when you came back, and how long you had been away
• That you watched a rewarded advertisement, and which one of them it was. We receive nothing about the advertisement itself; what AdMob collects is a separate matter, described below
• Whether notifications are allowed — both your answer when the game asks, and what your device already permits. The game reads the second of those without prompting you, so that it knows whether a reminder it schedules would ever actually arrive
• How many times you have opened the game, as a running count. Not when you opened it, and not what you did once you had
• Error reports when something in the game goes wrong: the error message and the line of our own code that produced it

We do not collect your location, your contacts, your files, your advertising ID, or anything you type. Your saved game is never uploaded — the file stays on your device — although the figures listed above are drawn from it.

These statistics are processed for us by Google Analytics. Google receives the IP address of the request, as it does for any connection to the internet, and uses it to work out roughly which country you are in; Google Analytics does not store it. Google's handling of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

Your game progress is stored locally on your device and is never uploaded to us or to anyone else. Uninstalling the game removes it from your device, and because we never receive that data, we hold no copy of it.

Advertising

Warehouse Empire displays rewarded video advertisements supplied by Google AdMob. These are shown only when you choose to watch one in exchange for an in-game benefit, such as a temporary production boost or doubled offline earnings. The game contains no banner advertisements and no interstitial advertisements, and it is fully playable without ever watching one.

To serve these advertisements, the Google Mobile Ads SDK automatically collects and shares the following:

• Device and account identifiers — including the Android advertising ID and app set ID
• IP address — which may be used to estimate the general location of your device
• App interaction data — including app launches, taps and video views
• Diagnostic information — including app launch time, hang rate and energy usage

This information is used for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention, and is shared with Google and its advertising partners. All data collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS). We do not receive any of it.

Google's use of this information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. You can also read how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Your choices

You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time from Settings → Privacy → Ads on your Android device, and you can opt out of advertisement personalisation in the same place. Opting out does not remove advertisements from the game, but they will be less relevant to you.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you are shown a consent form before any advertisement is requested. Your choices are respected on every subsequent request, and you can change them at any time from within the game.

Data deletion

We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to delete. The anonymous statistics described above cannot be traced back to you, to your device or to your saved game, which means we have no way to find "your" data in order to remove it — and equally no way for it to identify you. Your saved game is removed by uninstalling the app. Advertising data held by Google is subject to Google's own controls, linked above.

Children

Warehouse Empire is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Permissions

The game requests internet access, which is used to load advertisements when you choose to watch one and to send the anonymous statistics described above, and the advertising ID permission required by Google Play for apps that display advertisements. The game requires no other permissions and remains fully playable offline; statistics gathered while you have no connection are either sent later or discarded.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the game changes. Any revision will be published on this page and the date below will be updated.
